Dry Timber
It is one of the principal interests of this business to be able to supply as wide a variety as possible of the traditionally used British hardwoods. We also keep a small range of quality softwoods. Most of them are available both air-dried and kiln-dried. We keep dry oak thicknesses from 1/2 inch to 6 inches (15mm-150mm).
Some of the other species usually in stock include: ash, beech, elm, sweet chestnut, sycamore, cherry, walnut, apple, pear, alder, poplar, hornbeam, London plane, lime, box, bog oak, cedar of Lebanon, Douglas fir, yew.
